This shows contrast between civilization and savagery. The blue side represents
civilization because the pig in normal, the conch is there that represent order. The
red side represents savagery because the pig is dead and the glasses are broken.
The Pig dies represent the loss of innocence of the boys with shows that they are
savages.

This was literary criticism was very helpful it was all about the contrast between
civilization and savagery in Lord of the Files. That was a main focus in the novel.
The boys were left on to an island and most of them let their savagery lives take
over. The critic says “the idea of what when happens when man is out of center
of civilization.” I talk about the structure of civilization also. I mainly used this
article because it was perfect for what I need. It focused on my topic a lot.

This literary criticism was helpful. It was helpful because it had useful information about
the contrast between civilization and savagery in Lord of the Files. It said that the
contrast between civilization and savagery was a “Blind emotion and prudent
rationality; inhumanity and humanity; evil and good.” It shows what really went
on in the book between civilization vs. savagery. There is a distinct difference
between a civilized human and a animal which is like a savage. This was show in
the article and in Lord of the Files.

This represent civilization vs. savages because Jack shows Ralph and Ralph represents
civilization. The clothes say a lot, Ralph is does not have paint and is wearing
proper clothes that show that he has not turn to savages. And Jack in not wearing
real clothes and his face is paint to shows savagery.
